Merrell Agility Peak 5 Gore-Tex

The new Merrell Agility Peak 5 Gore-Tex is a revamped version that incorporates the Gore-Tex membrane of one of Merrell's most popular trail running shoes.

The Merrell Agility Peak 5 Gore-Tex is a trail running shoe that has recently received one of the awards at the renowned ISPO fair held annually in Munich.

Main features of the Merrell Agility Peak 5 Gore-Tex

Among the many trail shoes from Merrell, this particular model has a large following, and with the newly added waterproof membrane, it caters to runners who enjoy mountain running even in inclement weather conditions.

This version is very similar to the Merrell Agility Peak 5 that works so well in a wide range of terrains, but it has been adapted for wet surfaces.

This latest version comes with a more pronounced rocker design, a weight of less than 297 gr and a sculpted buttress for added comfort and grip. Whether it's an ultra marathon or a 5k trail race, the Agility Peak 5 will be your trail companion to move comfortably over any terrain.

The upper of the trainer is constructed from mesh and breathable TPU, made entirely from recycled materials, and it integrates a Gore-Tex outer membrane that offers exceptional waterproof properties.

It's also worth noting the presence of toe protections to offer added security in adverse weather conditions. The trainer features a small pull-tab in the heel area for easy and quick on and off.

This model has a 100% recycled mesh insole lining and features Cleansport NXT treatment for natural odor control.

The midsole features FloatPro foam, developed by the brand itself, which provides good comfort while remaining lightweight and durable.

The outsole is made of high-performance Vibram Megagrip rubber, which ensures excellent grip on both dry and wet terrain.

In addition, this Gore-Tex version features a Vibram traction lug design specifically tailored to increase grip and shed dirt with every step, with a 5 mm prominence.

This new version has a weight of 297 grams in the men's version, very similar to its counterpart despite having the Gore-Tex membrane.

The drop the trainer is the same as the Agility Peak 5's, namely 6 mm, with 31 mm profiles in the rear and 25 mm in the front.
