Brooks Hyperion 2

During the celebration of The Running Event, the American brand Brooks carried out different presentations of new products for the upcoming 2024 season, including the new Brooks Hyperion 2.

The Brooks Hyperion 2 will be a running shoe that will be integrated into the fastest shoes of the brand for use in those series or more demanding workouts.

What are the expectations for the new Brooks Hyperion 2?

Brooks will strengthen its catalog of fast running shoes over the next year with the launch of new models and updates that will present interesting new features and improvements to gain followers in this segment of shoes.

The new Brooks Hyperion 2 will present a renewed design, more updated than the Brooks Hyperion, also gaining in lightness.

The shoe does not integrate carbon plate in the midsole, but it does integrate the technology developed by the brand for fast shoes, the DNA Flash with infused nitrogen to offer an extraordinary energy return in each of our strides.

The outsole is divided into two parts, the front and rear, both with a light rubber (rougher in the front) to provide durability and grip during our workouts and / or competitions.

Ideal profile of the new Brooks Hyperion 2

This is a fast shoe, so it is designed for faster runners with good running technique to get the most out of the shoe's capabilities.

Light to medium weight runners with a neutral stride will be able to use this shoe during their training sessions, including competitions, although it will be better suited to cover short and medium distances (half marathon) but a bit tight for longer distances. As for the pace for running with the Brooks Hyperion 2 we will be able to run at fast paces under 4:30 minutes per kilometer.

Technical specifications of the new Brooks Hyperion 2

It is a very light shoe, weighing less than 200 grams, specifically 190 grams in the men's version (size 95 US).

As for the drop, it has a drop of 8 mm, with 31 mm profiles in the rear and 23 mm in the front of the shoe.

In short, we will be facing an improvement of the first version, ideal for those faster running workouts and that will be a perfect complement to the rest of the fast running shoes of the brand.

The Brooks Hyperion 2 will be available on the market from July 2024 with an approximate price of 140 euros.
