The Saucony Tempus 2 will be one of the brand's running shoes for all those who need extra stability control during their workouts.

What are the expectations of the new Saucony Tempus 2?

One of the brands with a catalog of shoes designed for all profiles of runners is the American brand Saucony, which will launch the second version of this shoe that will continue to maintain the essence of the first version, incorporating few new features.

The main new features, with respect to the Saucony Tempus, focus on the upper of the shoe, with a new mesh with new materials that will provide greater breathability.

The heel area will have more protections to provide the stability needed by all runners with a tendency to pronation and will also have a wider tongue that will allow a better fit of the foot inside the shoe.

The midsole of the shoe maintains the same features and technologies as the previous version which had one of the most popular foams of the brand, the PWRRUN PB that provides good cushioning in each of our strides. It is worth noting the lower density on the inside of the shoe to provide that extra stability.

The outsole will also remain practically the same, with the same design and greater presence of rubber in those areas of greater contact with the surface.

Ideal profile of the Saucony Tempus 2

The new version of the shoe maintains the essence and profile of the runners for whom it is intended, i.e. all those who need a shoe with extra stability and stride control for their daily running workouts.

Runners of medium weight, with a tendency to pronation and who can maintain calm and medium paces have in this shoe one of their candidates to run medium and even long distances without problems.

Technical specifications of the Saucony Tempus 2

In this section we have to highlight the weight of the shoe, which is 270 grams in the men's version (size 95 US), a slightly lower weight than its predecessor.

The drop remains at the 8 mm of the previous version, a perfect drop to run comfortably during our daily workouts with the shoe.

In short, the new Saucony Tempus 2 will be presented without great novelties from 2024 and with a launch price of 160 euros.
