Already available (as of early 2024), there's a new edition of one of the most cushioned shoes for those who need extra support for their workouts: the Saucony Omni 22.

The Saucony Omni 22 is a running shoe that presents a few innovations with respect to the previous version for those looking for extra versatility and speed.

Main features: Saucony Omni 22

One of the features of Saucony for this new season is one of the most comfortable shoes from the American brand, which we can use beyond our workouts for our daily routines.

The shoe has a slightly different design than the Saucony Omni 21, with a more modern and informal touch, and without the puller at the top of the lacing system that provided extra adjustment inside the shoe.

Another new feature is the presence of the pull tab on the back of the shoe, located on the heel instead of the tongue to make it easier to put on and take off the shoe.

Main features of the Saucony Omni 22

The midsole has the same cushioning as the previous version, the PWRRUN technology that works so well and provides good cushioning. It is also present in the new Saucony Guide 17.

The shoe incorporates an insole with PWRRUN+, with offers extra comfort and cushioning for our training and longer distance runs, with a design of higher profile.

The Saucony Omni 22 incorporates an improved Hallow-Tech system that allows you to run with support. Great for those who need that extra stability. The redesign of this system allows for smoother transitions from heel to toe.

Ideal runner profile: Saucony Omni 22

This model is designed for runners with a tendency to overpronate and therefore need a shoe that gives them that extra stability.

Runners of medium and heavy weight (including those over 80 kilos) who like to run at medium or easy paces will be able to use it without problems in medium and long distances. It is a shoe with which you can accumulate a large volume of kilometres in comfort.

Technical specifications: Saucony Omni 22

The new version gains in lightness in both the men's and women's version, specifically in the women's version it weighs 252 grams, while in the men's version the weight is 287 grams.

One aspect that remains the same with respect to the previous version is the drop, at 8mm, ideal for training shoes of the characteristics of the Saucony Omni 22 The shoe is 35mm in the rear and 27mm in the front.

In short, the new version of the Saucony Omni is a shoe that gains in versatility and lightness making it ideal for runners who need extra support and stability in their workouts.
