The Ethiopian Senbere Teferi has become this Sunday, September 12, 2021, the new queen of the 5K road race after breaking the record of the distance with a time of 14 minutes and 29 seconds.

Senbere's women's 5K record was achieved in the event organized by adidas in which the best long-distance runners sponsored by the brand raced to try to beat the record of each of the distances in which they are specialists, wearing the new adidas Adizero Takumi Sen 8 running shoes, which are not yet on sale and will be launched at the end of 2021.

This was not the only record broken today, in addition to Senbere Teferi's 5K record, Kenyan Agnes Jebet Tirop also managed to break the women's 10k record.

Each distance requires a specific training, so the RUNNEA ACADEMY tool will be of great help. Our coaches will send you a training and nutrition plan that will allow you to prepare yourself with the best guarantees.
