Brands are taking action. And they know that running is an activity that is increasingly performed at times when there is hardly any sunlight or even at night. Skechers has just developed and launched the Nite Owl model, which incorporates photoluminescent technology, making the shoe glow in the dark and ensuring the runner's visibility.

To charge the luminescence, it is sufficient to expose the shoe to a source of natural or artificial light. The more powerful the charge, the longer the glow remains on the shoe.

This is the same system that Adidas presented a few weeks ago and that will be incorporated by practically all brands.

Features

The base of the shoe is the Skechers GOrun Ride 2. The outsole with GOimpulse sensors offers greater traction control and a more reactive run. Its design promotes midfoot stride and features Resalyte® cushioning with memory retention. The 4mm drop provides a near neutral stance and there is the ability to remove the inner insole for a more minimalist experience. Finally, the breathable mesh offers great comfort and the Agion® technology helps fight odor. And for the coming seasons the Nite Owl will be available in several models of the GO line and will surprise with new colorways!
