The trend of customizing sneakers to the consumer's taste became fashionable a few years ago in the USA. But it has not been until the last 2 years when it has reached other countries such as Spain. Precisely Reebok Iberia has presented YourReebok, a platform that allows sneaker lovers and fitness addicts to customize and buy their models by customizing them themselves.
The YourReebok system offers users the opportunity to customize some of the brand's most successful models:
- CrossFit Nano
- Oly Lifter
- RealFlex
The changes that can be applied to each model are numerous. Up to 23 different areas of the shoe can be customized with a choice of 19 colors and graphics, 4 types of materials and the possibility of adding a name or message on the upper.
The price of a customized model can vary between 120€ and 160€ (similar to NIKEiD), depending on the selected silhouette, style, materials and extras included in the design.
The YourReebok platform arrives in Spain after having been successfully launched in the USA, Canada, Japan and 8 other European countries.
In less than a year, more than 230,000 pairs of sneakers have already been designed.
Most successful models
The model that has been most liked by users and therefore generated the highest number of sales has been the NANO 3.0. which was launched during the 2013 CrossFit Games.
The NANO 3.0. is the ideal shoe for CrossFitters. Among the most important changes in this new model is the "duracage" mesh upper: a polyurethane frame fused directly into a breathable mesh to provide flexibility, stability and protection in a lightweight shoe.
