Garmin, the global leader in satellite navigation technology, today introduced two new additions to its range of high-performance smart heart rate monitors & sports watches, the Fenix 7 Pro and the Epix Pro Watch, for retail sale today, Wednesday, May 31, 2023. These new watches come with a number of significant enhancements compared to their predecessors, with an emphasis on fitness monitoring, advanced GPS navigation and improved battery performance.

Garmin Fenix 7 Pro

The Garmin Fenix 7 Pro comes with a number of new and improved features. Highlights include a bioimpedance sensor, a new feature that allows you to measure your body's hydration level, and a new enhanced sleep tracking feature. In addition, the Fenix 7 Pro now offers a brighter and sharper AMOLED display, which improves readability in various lighting conditions. While retaining the rugged construction of its predecessor, this new model is noticeably thinner and lighter.

Garmin Epix Pro2 Gen)

The Garmin Epix Pro, meanwhile, is presented as the direct successor to the previous Epix, with a number of notable improvements and additions. Unlike its predecessor, this watch now features an always-on sapphire display, providing superior scratch resistance. In addition, the Epix Pro features a new 3D map that makes it easier to navigate in the wilderness. The new enhanced Pulse OX sensor also allows users to closely track their oxygen saturation level, which is especially useful for high-altitude activities.

Comparing both heart rate monitors & sports watches, the Fenix 7 Pro and Epix Pro watch share many features, including heart rate sensors, blood oxygen saturation measurement, sleep monitoring, and smart notifications. However, where they differ is in design and navigation options. While the Fenix 7 Pro has more of a focus on durability and performance for extreme libre activities, the Epix Pro is a bit more versatile and is ideal for those who need more advanced navigation.

Price

Both Garmin models are now available in online stores. As for pricing, the Garmin Fenix 7 Pro can be purchased starting at 800 euros, depending on configuration and customization options. The Epix Pro, with its sapphire display and advanced navigation options, has a starting price of 950 euros.
