This is the latest update of the fastest racing shoe in Saucony's history. A model designed by and to beat all records and records, which also incorporates the most cutting-edge technologies of the moment.

Saucony acclaimed Endorphin saga adds a new member, the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3. This is the third generation of the fastest carbon plate shoe from the American company, which we will analyze in detail in the following lines. More than 100 kilometers on our feet with them and the sensations, I can already tell you, have been very very good. A very light shoe, which despite including carbon is surprisingly comfortable, designed for those days of competition.
Before getting into the details, it is important to delimit the profile of the runner to whom these Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 running shoes are addressed. It is a racing shoe, designed specifically for the "big" day, for runners with a refined running technique and light-medium weight with some experience in this world. I had the opportunity to try the previous version and believe me, the evolution is palpable and visible both aesthetically and technologically.
They are aimed at runners with an intermediate-low weight, whose race speed is less than 4 min 15 sec/km will be the ones who will benefit the most from the performance of these Saucony Endorphin Pro 3.

What we liked most about the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3
I have had the opportunity to test several models of running shoes with carbon plate and despite the stiffness that characterizes these models, these Saucony have been very comfortable. This is due to the fact that this model undergoes a midsole profile increase compared to the previous version, the Saucony Endorphin Pro 2, and that the product designers of the company modified the density and design of the PWRRUN PB foam.

We note a greater presence of this foam with the aim of maximizing reactivity and speed in running. Therefore, we applaud this reconfiguration in a key section of the shoe.
Aesthetically the changes are more than noticeable. On the one hand, at the design level I like the evolution compared to its predecessor, the Saucony Endorphin Pro 2, an aggressive design with that nuance that confers a rise in the profiles. I like it. However, the new mesh construction does not convince me. The product designers surprise us with the incorporation of a kind of open mesh in combination with FORMFIT technology. More ventilated and breathable yes, but, always in my opinion, to the detriment of protection and durability by the way.
The outsole of this model is made of XT-900 rubber. A compound with which I have experienced good traction and grip on different surfaces. Be careful, when it rains or the surface is wet; things change.
Possible points for improvement Saucony Endorphin Pro 3
The main handicap I see to the model is concentrated in the upper cut. As I mentioned before, this model improves in breathability and adaptability but, in my opinion, this is to the detriment of protection and durability. I don't really like this type of open mesh, but of course, there are different colors for different tastes.
The performance of the outsole on wet and slippery surfaces does have some room for improvement, especially when it comes to a fast running shoe.
