1 / 2

Versatility is one of the main characteristics that define the new Puma Fast-Trac Nitro 2, a shoes that incorporates some of the most outstanding technologies developed by the German multinational.

The Puma Fast-Trac Nitro 2 are trail running shoes that we can use on a variety of terrains, including gravel, forest trails, uncompacted surfaces, and many more - as long as they're not too complicated or technical.

Main characteristics: Puma Fast-Trac Nitro 2

Puma continues to position itself, season after season, in the trail running market. Thanks in part to models like the Puma Fast-Trac Nitro 2, they're creating a range that adapts to a wide profile of runners.

The upper of the shoe is made with a mesh that gives us great durability and resistance, an aspect that is improved with respect to the Puma Fast-Trac Nitro and also protects us from the external elements.

It is worth noting the presence of small drainage holes located in the front, and protectors against dust and dirt that will protect us on those more intense workouts in the mountains.

Main features of the Puma Fast-Trac Nitro 2

The shoe features PUMA's characteristic motifs including the PUMA Formstrip on the sides and the logo on the tongue and the upper.

The midsole is made up of different technologies developed by the brand. The Puma Fast-Trac Nitro 2 features an integral NITRO Infused layer in the upper: a nitrogen-injected foam that provides responsiveness and cushioning with extreme lightness.

PROFOAM LITE foam is also present: a super lightweight EVA foam designed to cushion and propel us through each of our strides.

The outsole has PUMAGRIP-ATR, a high-performance compound suitable for the mountains thanks to a design that offers traction on ice, mud and unstable surfaces.

Ideal profile: Puma Fast-Trac Nitro 2

This is a versatile pair of shoes that can work for a wide range of runners who like to run in the mountains, but who can also use it occasionally on road.

It is a shoe that athletes of light or even medium weight (with a neutral stride technique) will be able to get the most out of.

In terms of paces and distances, it is a shoe with which we can run fast and intensely, always on simple terrain and over short distances. For distances longer than a half-marathon, it might be worth looking elsewhere.

The shoe has a medium drop at 6mm, ideal for fast running over short distances. In short, this is a shoe that will provide great versatility and agility in our workouts on easy mountain terrain.
