For some runners, the fundamental part of their training isn't distance or endurance, it's simply an inner desire to move their feet in the right direction: always forward. The New Balance 1540v2 could be just what they need because it's designed with stability features for overpronation, helping to guide the foot forward so you can focus on your run.

The New Balance 1540 v2 is a motion-control Running shoes that offers incredible comfort. It has much better design, cushioning and durability than other shoes in its class, which will allow runners to reach their goals.

Upper

The second version of the 1540 features changes that allow the shoe to provide excellent support and security in the areas the runner needs. In this new version, the seamless upper has smaller and slightly smaller overlays.

The idea is to give the shoe some flexibility to allow the upper to better hug the foot without eliminating the necessary support that a motion control shoe provides. Runners will love the generous padding throughout the shoe, including the tongue. For added comfort, a polyurethane sockliner welcomes feet as they slip into these shoes.

Midsole

Perhaps the most prominent part of this model, New Balance covers the midsole with several cutting-edge technologies. Providing long-lasting cushioning is ACTEVA LITE foam, which is 12% lighter than standard EVA and other midsole foams.

The combination of Dupont Engage Isoprene Rubber and New Balance s proprietary foam technology forms the ABZORB structure that has been placed in the heel area. This technology effectively cushions the landing and disperses impact.

This version includes ENCAP, which is a soft EVA rubber in the midsole with a resilient ring for support and durability. Since the 1540 v2 shoes are designed to handle severe overpronators, the midsole also houses serious stability features.

The TPU makes the rollover barrier extend from the medial side to the lateral side. Both sides are connected by a TPU composite material that keeps both areas secure. Since the rollover barrier is on both sides of the shoe, they act as a wall that effectively prevents inward or outward rolling of the foot.

Outsole

A large portion of the outsole is covered by Blown Rubber for better traction and increased cushioning. Highly durable Ndurance rubber covers areas that usually suffer from wear and tear.

New Balance also made the platform a bit wider to really improve the stability characteristics of the shoe. In addition to the maximum overpronation control features, the wider footprint makes these shoes more stable with every stride.

Outstanding features

Well ventilated and breathable shoe. They provide excellent support in the plantar arch area.

The construction of the shoes is wide which benefits runners with wide feet. There is enough room in the heel area, good lockdown in the midfoot area and a wider forefoot area.

No doubt New Balance Balance is dedicated to making athletes achieve their goals. For more than a century, focusing on research and development has been their primary mission. That's why they don't design products to fit an image, they design to meet the needs of athletes.

The New Balance 1540 V2 is a Running shoes (also used as a casual shoe) carefully thought out to create a model that meets the demands, needs and requirements of runners who need maximum support.
