The Asics Gel Nimbus 16 are here. The best-selling model of the Japanese brand is renewed as every year and does not want to lose its hegemonic position so they come with some new features and especially a more groundbreaking design in both the men's and women's version.

Differences Asics Nimbus Gel 15 vs Nimbus 16

Mainly in the upper or upper mesh. Asics has incorporated FluidFit technology. More changes. Another of Asics' untouchables, its successful midsole, also undergoes slight variations. The aim is to provide a smoother transition of the foot in each stride. For this we find another technological innovation, Fluidride (although the 15 version already incorporated it) in this edition provides a better response and a slightly softer cushioning, always looking for the runner's comfort.

Different arrangement of the GEL

The Asics Nimbus 16 returns to the 2012 model (Nimbus 14) in terms of the distribution of its GEL in the midsole.

If in the Asics Nimbus 15 the GEL occupied the entire midsole, in the 2014 model they distribute the cushioning material in strategic areas that protect where it is needed without adding extra grams.

They still provide cushioning, rebound and durability.

Otherwise, few changes

In the rest of the shoe and until we can make the REVIEW few changes are appreciated. The design becomes more aggressive and minimalist. Although it is still a running shoe for runners over 75 kg looking for a lot of cushioning, firm but comfortable, it no longer gives that feeling of "big shoe", its new upper and new colors make it seem to have less volume.

The Trusstic ® and Guidance Line ® systems are maintained for better definition and efficiency of the footprint, also providing stability in the midfoot.
