1 / 4

Asics Dynablast 3 is the bet of the japanese brand for a shoe with a good value for money, to run on asphalt for those who are looking for a very light model, with a cushioning of soft but reactive touch and comfortable sensations in the race. We can consider it as a mixed running shoe that you will be able to use for your runs up to 10-12 km and for quality sessions such as series, changes of pace, slopes. They are also a good option for your short and medium distance races, as long as you have a certain running technique.

What type of runner are the Asics Dynablast 3 suitable for?

The Asics Dynablast 3 are recommended for runners up to 80kg in men (although preferably under 75kg), and 65-70 kg in women, with neutral tread and always for running on asphalt. Paces indicated are under 5 minutes per kilometer.

Asics Dynablast 3main features

It is a very comfortable shoe as soon as you put it on, just like the previous version, the Asics Dynablast 2. Asics is looking for comfortable sensations for that type of runner who runs around 10k, 2 to 4 days a week and who can do either a leisurely run or a series session. It is not a shoe with excessive reinforcements or protections, and its drop is 8mm .

As we usually tell you, drops below 10mm may require some muscle adaptation, as they encourage you to land with the midfoot instead of the heel, which is why runners with a decent running technique tend to adapt better to this type of drop. Although being an 8mm drop the adaptation should be quite fast.

It has a full midsole made of FF Blast material. Its feel is soft but responsive at faster paces. The design of the shoe has a higher forefoot elevation than what we can see in other brands. Asics ' goal is to facilitate the dynamics of the foot strike, from landing to toe-off with a rocker-like design.

The upper is very breathable and offers a good fit. Its lacing also helps to make the foot support optimal and comfortable, but the main change is perhaps in a tongue with a ribbed design and considerably elevated that adapts to the upper part of the instep avoiding uncomfortable pressure points when tying the laces.

It should also be noted that 50% of the shoe 's upper is made from recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions.

The weight of the shoe is less than 250 grams in a size 9 UK.
