Runners of all levels know that achieving success takes time and a lot of effort. Over the course of three decades, the Nike Air Pegasus has evolved year after year to become a running benchmark.

Whatever the version, these shoes have always satisfied athletes and earned their loyalty and trust.

Now, the new Air Pegasus+ 30 continues their great legacy by applying modern technology in the lightest edition to date.

Mo Farah's shoe

"The Pegasus is one of my favorite shoes," says world champion long-distance runner Mo Farah, who has trained in Nike Air Pegasus for much of his career. "It's so important to have a shoe that has good cushioning that's as light as possible while still giving you the support you need."

For 30 years, these shoes have been essential running shoes, prized for their cushioning and lightness that fit Nike Zoom perfectly. While the Pegasus model has evolved over the years, it has always remained consistent with its roots, bringing the reliability and consistent quality that runners have come to expect from it.

Improvements over the Pegasus +29

Improvements focus on three fit zones: the toe, midfoot and heel. Seamless overlays are strategically placed to minimize weight and provide a soft, comfortable interior. Nike engineered mesh offers support and ventilation specific to the needs of the shoe's zones, while the Nike Zoom unit in the heel provides responsive cushioning. The contoured heel wraps around the rearfoot for a better fit.

The Pegasus series has long been known for its secure fit. The Nike Air Pegasus+ 30 uses a sockliner for better adaptation to the shape of the foot. They feature a reflective layer on the upper to make the runner more visible in low visibility conditions.

The outsole

The waffle outsole is made from recycled rubber, making it durable and providing superb multi-surface traction. The precisely placed flex grooves (deeper on the sides and shallower in the midfoot) promote a natural and efficient stride.

After 30 years, the Pegasus has covered millions of kilometers. Now, the Nike Air Pegasus+ 30 allows the next generation to embark on a new journey.
