The new Topo Fly-Lite 5 will be a shoe that will present many new features compared to the previous version with the aim of gaining in lightness and versatility of one of the lightest shoes of the brand.

The Topo Fly-Lite 5 will be an ideal running shoe for fast runners with good running technique who will be able to get the most out of the shoe that will be released at the end of summer 2023.

What do we expect from the new Topo Fly-Lite 5?

The Fly-Lite 5 will be a running shoe from Topo Athletic that retains the low profiles of its predecessors, to run in a more natural way and that more and more brands are incorporating some models with this trend.

The midsole of the shoe features the ZipFoam foam that was already present in the Topo Fly-Lite 4 but in a new and improved version that will provide more softness and reactivity during our workouts.

The upper of the Topo Fly-Lite 5 will feature a lighter and more breathable technical mesh than the previous version and with slight protections in the heel area to provide a little more consistency and protection to runners.

The design of the shoe 's rocker will be more beveled for greater reactivity and momentum in our strides, another aspect that makes this new version gain in dynamism and speed.

The shoe will have a narrower sole, so it will be essential to be a runner with a very good running technique because with this narrower sole we will gain in speed but we will be a little more penalized in stability.

The outsole of the Topo Fly-Lite 5 will have a different design in order to improve and increase traction and grip with the asphalt.

All the changes we have explained do not penalize the weight of the shoe, which gains in lightness and will weigh only about 212 grams, so it is intended for lightweight runners.

The Topo Fly-Lite 5 will retain the low 3 mm drop, with 23mm profile in the rear of the shoe and 20mm in the front for the delight of those who like to run in a more natural way and closer to the asphalt.
