Salomon Spectur 2

Salomon has presented several new products, both in the range of running and trail, during The Running Event, held in Austin (United States), being the Salomon Spectur 2 one of the presentations.

The Salomon Spectur 2 will be a running shoe that will stand out for its durability, so we will be able to run with them for hours without problems thanks to its great comfort.

What are the expectations of the new Salomon Spectur 2?

The range of Salomon running shoes is progressively expanding, both in models for daily training and faster shoes that we can use both in training series and in competitions as in the case of this new shoe.

The Salomon Spectur 2 has the same design and geometries as the high performance model of the range as the Salomon S/Lab Spectur, although with small differences.

One of the differences with respect to the Salomon S/Lab Spectur is that this model has a fiberglass plate instead of the carbon plate of the top of the range model.

The fiberglass plate gives us some advantages and disadvantages with respect to the carbon plate, the fiberglass plate gives us greater strength and durability but less reactivity than the carbon plate.

The midsole will have a single EVA foam to provide the cushioning needed to run long distances comfortably.

The shoe is designed for fast runners who need a highly durable training shoe that can be combined, for those with good running technique, with the Salomon S/Lab Spectur, which contains a carbon plate, for those more important competitions.

The shoe is scheduled for release in early August 2024 at a price to be determined. As the date vaya closer and we know more information we will update you.
