Puma Voyage Nitro 3

Released at the beginning of August 2023, the new PUMA Voyage 3 Nitro has been on the market for fast runners who like to run comfortably thanks to the Nitro foam cushioning.

The PUMA Voyage 3 Nitro is a trail running shoe that stands out for its versatility: we can use them for simple terrain, but they also respond perfectly on trails with greater slopes, or technical complications.

PUMA adds to its catalogue of shoes this new model for running in the mountains, incorporating some of the most outstanding technologies of the brand.

The upper of the shoe features the PWRTAPE technology that we have seen in some of the brand's recent running models. This technology provides an extra tightness of the foot inside the shoe. The PUMA Voyage 3 Nitro has these strips as reinforcement from the back to the front of the shoe.

We also like the upper: the tongue has elastic materials that provide us with the necessary comfort to run in the mountains. In addition, the laces fit perfectly thanks to a last eyelet.

In the heel area, there are reinforcements to provide the necessary stability and protection, and finally, there is a small puller located in the back of the heel, to allow us to put on and take off the shoe quickly.

The midsole of the shoe has the compound that gives its name to the shoe, and that works well in some of the most prominent running shoes of the brand. The Nitro compound provides excellent comfort and cushioning. Little by little, PUMA is eliminating EVA foam from its shoes, and incorporating this new technology.

The sole has PUMAGRIP ATR technology, developed by the brand, which is a rubber compound that works perfectly on a wide variety of terrains, from the simplest to the most technically complicated trails.

The PUMAGRIP ATR outsole features prominent 4mm lugs to provide the necessary grip on the most uneven terrain. The shoe does not have an anti-rock plate.

The PUMA Voyage 3 Nitro is a lightweight shoe at just 275 grams with a drop of 8mm. That's 35mm in the rear and 27mm in the front.

Finally, it should be noted that 30% of the upper is made from recycled materials.
