Origin

Nike Flyknit technology was inspired by feedback from runners who have long desired a running Running shoes with a snug fit almost like a second skin.

Nike embarked on a four-year project with teams of programmers, engineers and designers to create a technology that would help build a woven upper with static properties for structure and durability. Later, the precise placement of supports, ventilation elements and flexibility were fine-tuned, all in a single layer. The uppr is now lighter and more ventilated, fits better and has almost no seams that can cause friction on the foot.
