 The new Mizuno Wave platform's design combines large and small waves, and results in a quantitative and qualitative improvement in cushioning without sacrificing stability. This new midsole not only ensures greater shock absorption during running, but also promotes greater energy return. New upper

The upper has also been redesigned and features a new soft and stretchy fabric material, Smooth Stretch Woven, which emphasises the feeling of fit and breathability. The shoe now sports a more modern and stylish design that reminds us of another of the Japanese brand's heavyweights, the Mizuno Wave Shadow 4.

The outsole continues to feature Mizuno's most durable compound, X10 rubber. This is a highly wear-resistant rubber that also allows for superior traction and grip.
