Year 2017

The sixth version of the PureFlow from Brooks Running does not leave the path marked by its predecessors, and continues to remain as a model focused on natural running, and designed forrunners with neutral footprint, and light-medium weight. You do not go barefoot, but as if you were, because the PureFlow line of the North American firm has already established itself as one of the benchmarks of minimalist running shoes.

Thus, the Brooks PureFlow 6 retains that characteristic low profile with a 4-millimeter drop, but in this latest release they have sought to maximize the sensations of feeling the terrain on which you run with a lighter and more flexible running shoe. Weighing 252 grams, the PureFlow 6 ensures a more natural contact with the ground.

The lightweight and flexible aspect of this minimalist model is achieved, in part, thanks to the new upper update. The upper of the Brooks PureFlow 6 incorporates a seamless mesh, which not only provides more comfort and a more attractive aesthetic touch, but also helps to reinforce more natural movements, wrapping the foot with a softer feel.

Not to mention the 3d Fit Print lining, already incorporated in the PureFlow 5, to provide the model with better support and an impeccable fit, thanks to the strategic combination of structure and flexibility.

More comfortable, natural and efficient running

In the rest of the features, the PureFlow 6 does not vary too much from what was already seen in the previous model of the Brooks PureFlow 5. This last model was a turning point for this saga of the North American brand, whose three most outstanding features are seen again in this latest PureFlow release.

In the midsole, the Brooks PureFlow 6 incorporates the DNA LT material, which, as Brooks Running assures, is a lighter compound (up to 10%) than the standard DNA, which translates into a more dynamic cushioning capacity, and which is capable of adapting better to each stride. It increases that more natural feeling underfoot, but also without neglecting protection.

On the other hand, and no less important, is the resource that has also been repeated in the rear area of this minimalist running shoe: the rounded heel. An element that, in addition to improving alignment, also disperses the impact, which minimizes pressure on the joints, offering more safety against possible injuries.

In short, the Brooks PureFlow 6 improves the flexibility and lightness of previous versions to provide a more comfortable, natural and efficient run in every kilometer covered. This sixth release of the PureFlow 6 is designed for running short and/or medium distances, and at medium paces.
