Brooks Ghost 11

The new edition of the Brooks Ghost is now number 11 with changes in the upper and the introduction of new systems in the midsole. It is a versatile running shoe that stands out for its lightness and cushioning. It maintains the classic performance of the Ghost , perfect for fast paces, even up to medium, for runners of medium weight. Also for those runners with a lighter build looking for more cushioning or stronger runners who run short distances. This new edition adds more softness under the heel even though the cushioning level remains below that of the Glycerin.

The midsole of this Brooks model has been one of the modified areas. The strong point of this new sneaker is in the heel area where the DNA Loft foam has been included to obtain greater softness while in the rest of the midsole we find the DNA BioMoGo compound to soften the impact of the footstep while maintaining the responsiveness and durability of the shoe. Although the cushioning level of this shoe does not reach the level of the Brooks Gliceryn. However, for athletes with a lighter build, the level of cushioning will be higher. Also, for superior protection we have added segmented cushioning pads that contribute to a smoother and more adaptive ride.

As usual, the upper is the area with the biggest changes. In the Brooks Ghost it is also like this, it has been made with an engineered mesh that seeks to increase the stretching areas of the parts that do not need and in which they do not, show better support. Therefore, it favors the natural movement of the foot and increases the comfort of the user.

Finally in the outsole, all the modifications introduced in this new update are focused on improving the sensations in continuous running to run more kilometers. It is therefore an ideal running shoe for long distance runs. The heel has also been updated to provide a more secure and comfortable fit.

Finally, in terms of technical specifications, the drop of the Brooks Ghost 11 remains the same as its predecessor at 12mm. In terms of weight, the weight remains around 300 gr, more specifically 306 gr in the men's model and 266 gr in the women's version.
