Altra Experience Flow

At The Running Event recently held in Austin there were numerous presentations of new models that will see the light during the next 2024. Altra has been present and has presented the new Altra Experience Flow.

The Altra Experience Flow will be a running shoe that will be presented with a sleek design and in different shades of colors.

What are the expectations for the new Altra Experience Flow?

Altra will continue its commitment during 2024 to shoes without the brand's iconic 0 mm drop, this new model will feature a low drop located at 4 mm.

The upper of the shoe will feature a technical mesh that will provide great comfort and fit as well as elegance to show off during our daily running workouts.

The shoe will feature Altra s signature natural fit in the forefoot area of the upper for the most natural running experience possible, with a standard last.

The midsole incorporates a compression-molded foam for lightweight and responsive running with an effortless feel.

Having a low drop (4 mm) allows for a higher rocker geometry that will benefit reactivity and efficient take-off in each of our strides when running at faster paces.

Ideal profile of the new Altra Experience Flow

The shoe is designed for runners of medium weight and neutral stride technique for their daily running workouts.

The design and geometry of the rocker will allow running at fast paces if we want to squeeze them in those more demanding workouts but that will defend exceptionally at medium paces for use in recovery sessions or long distances with which we can run without problems.

Technical specifications of the Altra Experience Flow

The shoe will feature a light weight, located at 238 grams in the men's version and 204 grams in the women's version.

The Altra Experience Flow will not have the 0 mm drop that characterizes the brand, the drop will be 4 mm, with different profiles in the men's and women's versions, to better adapt to the different morphologies of each. Specifically they will be 32 mm in the rear and 28 mm in the front in the men's version, while the women's version will have 2 mm lower profiles (30 mm - 26 mm).

The Altra Experience Flow will be available in early January 2024 and will have an introductory price of approximately 140 euros.
