The TomTom Runner Cardio is capable of measuring heart rate with acceptable accuracy by means of a sensor placed behind the screen on the part that is in contact with the wrist. It does this by monitoring variations in blood flow in the wrist. The system works thanks to a beam of light that comes out of the heart rate monitor and manages to pass through the skin to detect changes in light reflections.

Heart rate training

The Tom Tom Runner Cardio GPS allows you to train in 5 different intensity ranges that guide you in your training by helping you to increase or decrease your pace.

The display shows you in real time your situation with respect to the target which will serve as motivation to achieve your records or set goals in your workouts.

Tom Tom has also thought about the social functions and allows you to share your results easily through applications and websites for runners. You can also synchronize automatically with the TomTom MySport app for mobile devices.

You can know your location, pace and speed per kilometer, in addition to integrating a monitoring system of our heart rate.
