Suunto Ambit3 Vertical

The successful Suunto Ambit3 Connected family already has a new member: the Suunto Ambit 3 Vertical, a GPS watch of last generation indicated for multisport athletes, and that presents as a strong point the possibility of planning and controlling the slope both in training and in competitions. This new gadget from the Finnish brand is designed for sports disciplines such as trail running, mountain biking, road cycling, and even skiing.

The overlaps with previous watches in the Ambit3 Connected collection are clear, as there are functionalities that are repeated from models such as the Ambit3 Sport and Ambit3 Peak. From the mineral glass of the lens, the battery life -up to 100 hours with operational GPS-, the meters of depth; through the barometric pressure, weather information; to the steel bezel, among other outstanding features.

But there are not only similarities, but the Suunto Ambit3 Vertical also brings new improvements. One of the most relevant is the incorporation of the GPS and Glonass positioning system, which also includes a new antenna. All this merges into a more aerodynamic design, lighter - it only weighs 74 grams and its dimensions are 50 x 50 x 155 mm - and with a better fit.

Improving training and racing experiences

Through the Suunto Movescount App, the Suunto Ambit3 Vertical also offers the ability to plan all your workouts from wherever you are. At the same time you can use the watch's own vibration alerts as an effective guide. Although, optional, another of the features that attract attention in the latest GPS watch from Suunto is its compatibility with the Stryd Running Powermeter system to measure your running power, train better and also reduce possible injuries. Also not to be forgotten is the Firstbeat option to track your recovery status.

Another detail not to overlook is that you have at your disposal altitude information and topographic maps, through the Suunto Movescount platform. This, coupled with barometric pressure, the Suunto Ambit3 Vertical is able to monitor ascents with great accuracy.
