Suunto Ambit 3 Run

The Suunto Ambit3 Run is the new GPS watch from the prestigious Finnish brand focused on demanding runners in terms of performance and style. An electronic device at the forefront of design and innovation that fulfills the functions of trainer and running partner at the same time, so you can plan, progress and recover in the best way after each training session.

This Suunto Ambit3 Run sports watch includes Bluetooth technology and full GPS navigation, giving you the ability to plan your route online, download it and then run it without fear of getting lost or going the wrong way. Thanks to this watch pointer and through the Suunto Movescount application, you can design and perform exercises with detailed intervals. You can also program both the duration and intensity of the exercise in question, and you can receive voice prompts from a virtual coach if you use it together with the app.

Future software updates will provide you with the ability to compare your running performance with your average over the past 30 days and analyze your recovery from both physical activity and sleep by running tests, according to Suunto.

Additional benefits

With the Suunto Movescount app you can personalize your Ambit3 Run and receive call and text message notifications on your watch so you don't have to stop to see who's calling, as well as share your Moves from anywhere. One of the new features of the app will be an activity feed that will allow you to follow your friends' activities and, at the same time, allow them to see yours.

Through Suunto Movie you will be able to make a movie or video clip of your route. The application is currently available for users of iOS devices such as iPhone or iPad and will be compatible with the latest versions of the Android 5.0 (Lollipop), 4.4 (KitKat) and 43 (Jelly Bean) operating system in April.

Separately, Nordic firm Suunto has also collaborated with TrainingPeaks, an online service that offers advanced training tips for endurance athletes.

The Smart Sensor belt and the Suunto Ambit3 Sport watch renew their color palette

The Suunto Smart Sensor belt also gets a makeover and arrives in three new colors: lime, blue and coral. The Smart Sensor records and stores your heart rate and transfers the data via Bluetooth to your Ambit3 or to the Suunto Movescount app installed on your cell phone. You can record your heart rate even without wearing your watch on your wrist. Put on the belt, forget about your watch or smartphone and when you return from your workout, your heart rate data will be transferred wirelessly to either device. In addition, the Smart Sensor belt is compatible with swimming.

Meanwhile, the Suunto Ambit3 Sport GPS watch, which has all the ideal features for running, swimming, cycling and multisport training, is now available for purchase in the new coral color.
