New Balance 009

The American brand has just unveiled the New Balance 009, a new casual sneaker in its fall-winter 2016 collection. Inspired by the classic silhouettes of the New Balance 900 series, the designers have kept the classic details of the Heritage 998 and 999, along with some innovations and modern materials, creating a new lifestyle sneaker with a classic but avant-garde cut.

The new New Balance 009 is an exampleof the evolution of the Lifestyle range and the new models being developed for cool people and their busy lifestyles.

Materials used

The American firm New Balance has developed a pressure mapping to create a dual-density midsole, in a single piece that is super comfortable. In addition to borrowing technology from more technical models, the 009 features a foam-filled neoprene collar that molds and adapts to the anatomy of the ankle. The new model is offered in three color combinations in suede, accompanied with the 'N' logo in leather and a rubber sole.
