Adidas Campus 2

The Adidas Campus 2 casual sneakers are one of the most popular editions of the firm and the variety and number of designs that have been made of these classic Sneakers over time are proof of this. The Campus were born in the 70's as basketball sneakers, however, thanks to their casual look they began to be used by pop and hip-hop artists, which gave this shoe its leap to fame.

Currently, the Adidas Campus 2 is the most recent version of this shoe, although it has not lost its technical specifications for basketball practice, more and more casual details are being added to the shoe.

Design

The upper of these sneakers is made of soft suede, with an eco-leather reinforcement in the heel area. On the sides of the shoe there are the three white lines characteristic of Adidas, which are made of synthetic material or synthetic prints and in addition to improving the aesthetics of the shoe, they provide a better structure to the lateral section.

The collar and tongue are made of a very padded material that offers a good level of comfort; the inside of the shoe is lined with a fabric that favors ventilation and is complemented by a padded insole that provides a comfortable surface for the foot.

A textured foam has been chosen for the midsole, which maintains good cushioning from impact with the ground when used on the court, or for casual wear throughout the day.

The soles of the shoes use a rubber compound that is highly resistant to abrasion and wear. The herringbone pattern chosen for the soles allows them good traction while maintaining a certain level of slip and facilitating braking.

Fit

The fit of the shoe is slightly narrow and is completed by the lacing system which uses flat laces for greater comfort. The laces are attached to synthetic leather reinforcements, which facilitate a custom fit and provide durability.

The Adidas Campus are undoubtedly an Adidas icon since their launch; although there are many versions in a variety of styles and with the incorporation of different materials and designs for the upper, the Adidas Campus 2 are the most popular thanks to their comfort, style and elegance.
