Main features of the Scarpa Ribelle Run XT

The Ribelle Run XT is a trail running shoe from Scarpa that features some of the most outstanding technologies developed by the brand that work so well, especially in the toughest and most technical conditions and terrains.

The Scarpa Ribelle Run XT features an upper construction system with Scarpa's EXO technology. This is a lateral, thermo-welded protection that, combined with the upper, creates an exoskeleton that protects, supports and contains the foot better during the run. It is a shoe that provides more protection than its faster sister shoe, the Scarpa Ribelle Run.

The upper of the Scarpa Ribelle Run XT is made of 100% recycled polyester and nylon, designed to fit any foot shape with a snug, comfortable fit for extended wear.

The midsole of the shoe consists of a medium density EVA active foam for good cushioning, stability and responsive push-off.

The outsole of the Scarpa Ribelle Run XT is made of Presa TRN-05 compound, an outsole developed for medium to long distance activities in a mountain environment, on trails of different technical levels.

The design of the outsole has different areas to provide and improve adherence and grip on any terrain surface. The heel area with lugs prepared to improve braking going downhill and maximize grip going uphill, a central area to provide stability and external lugs for extra grip on the most technical terrain.

Technical specifications of the Scarpa Ribelle Run XT

In the technical specifications section, the shoe's drop is increased with respect to the Scarpa Ribelle Run, the XT version has a drop of 6mm with profiles of 28.5mm in the heel area and 22.5mm in the front part of the shoe.

The weight of the Scarpa Ribelle Run XT is also higher than its sister shoe, weighing 355 grams in the men's version and 295 grams in the women's version.
