Salomon Sense Mantra 3

The Salomon Sense Mantra 3 is the perfect city trail running shoe, ideal for those who don't have time to travel to the mountains, with an exceptional combination of protection and natural running feel. Overall, the third generation of this city trail shoe has been revamped to offer improved fit and performance.

The Salomon Sense Mantra 3 is designed for runners who do not want to stick to a hard surface such as asphalt and can be used on trails. It is a fairly light shoe with a weight of 275 grams and a low 6 mm drop that is oriented for training and aimed at runners who tend to impact in the midfoot and forefoot areas.

Upper

The upper of the shoe retains an aspect quite similar to that of the previous model Salomon Sense Mantra 2, although this time the French firm has slightly renewed it, incorporating to this upper some more faded colors that give the shoe a different appearance compared to its predecessor version.

In addition, the upper incorporates the SensiFit system to cushion the foot and provide a precise and secure fit, while the tongue with EndoFit technology improves responsiveness and foot wrap while running. A quick lacing system called Quicklace with minimalist laces is also implemented. In turn, the heel area has gained some bulkiness due to the increased cushioning, as the purpose is to protect this part of the foot.

Midsole

The midsole is composed of two pieces, presenting double density in the front part, and which has been provided with greater protection in case you like to run on more uneven terrain.

Outsole

One of the main novelties of this Salomon Sense Mantra 3 shoe lies in the outsole, which presents two very well differentiated areas depending on the action that each of them carry out.

On the one hand, we have an area formed by some studs with small pentagonal shapes, whose purpose is to achieve greater multidirectional grip. And on the other hand, the heel area has incorporated a compound called Contragrip HA to combat abrasion in this part of the shoe more prone to wear with the passage of kilometers.
