With a design that remains more in line with the classic and basic features but completely efficient for those who are new to the world of running, come the Mizuno Spark, a shoe with good arch support, comfortable and with the maximum possible breathability, resulting in a running shoe that perfectly fulfills the purpose for which they have been designed.

Mizuno keeps its focus on beginner runners with the launch of the Spark, offering them a highly functional shoe with a very high level of comfort, cushioning and an eye-catching design, all at an affordable price for those looking for their first running shoes. Although it is a shoe with few technical innovations, they respond perfectly as a training shoe for short and medium distances.

Longer lasting soles

As has become common in Mizuno s editions of entry-level shoes, the sole is made of a continuous surface that provides greater stability and allows for smoother transitions between the heel and toe. Flex lines have been added to the outsole design to improve flexibility and allow for a more natural foot motion. The Mizuno Spark uses X-10 Carbon Rubber material in the wear areas to ensure greater durability.

More responsive midsole

The EVA foam midsole may seem rather simple, yet it offers a good level of cushioning. Although it is quite lightweight it has decent responsiveness and durability relative to the purpose it is designed for and offers a substantial surface that absorbs shock very well and allows runners to enjoy runs no matter the pace and distance.

Renewed AirMesh

The mesh used in the upper of other editions of Mizuno running shoes has been revamped for the Mizuno Spark, offering a more open mesh that allows for the greatest possible breathability. This has undoubtedly been a good strategy to gain the preference of entry-level runners as the foot stays cool and libre throughout the run, allowing for a more enjoyable run.

As always, some synthetic overlays have been placed to secure the foot and keep it in place while providing a better structure to the overall shoe. The collar molds nicely to the contours of the ankle and heel bone to keep these areas protected at all times.

The shoe has an average amount of room in both the heel and forefoot areas, which is flattering for the vast majority of runners, however, it also has decent width and volume for those who want more room in the toe area.

The Mizuno Spark can be categorized as an excellent shoe to start running, however, due to its characteristics, it can also be used without problem for other sports activities where a good level of cushioning and comfort is required.
