The Merrell Ascend Glove is a minimalist trailrunning shoe with 0 Drop (i.e. the difference in mm of the sole from heel to toe), only for experienced trailrunners.
Its main feature is its 0 drop midsole and 6 mm of cush (sole), 2 mm more than the Merrel Trail Glove model.
It has the TrailProtect system, which consists of a 1 mm thick plate located between the midsole and the sole, thus protecting the forefoot and heel from foot strike impacts.
If there is one quality of this shoe that stands out, it is its grip. Perfect traction in any situation thanks to its Vibramsole.
Thanks to a strategic agreement between Gore-Tex® and Merrell; they have developed the ConnectFit technology. It allows the athlete to have a shoe with Gore-Tex® without giving up the sensations of freedom and flexibility guaranteed by the MerrellMConnect series footwear.
