1 / 2

The best endorsement of this trail shoe is the award for best off road shoe at the Friedrischafen Fair (Germany) in 2010. Suitable for barefoot runners who move well in mountain terrain, although it is designed for light and medium weights. The Inov-8 Bare Grip 200 stands out for its light weight, just 200 grams. But this does not detract from its flexibility. A flexibility that is obtained thanks to the incorporation of the Meta-Flex system, a band that is placed at the level of the metatarsals.

The absence of midsole makes this model one of the preferences of runners who like to feel the ground where they step. The Bare Grip 200 is a completely flat shoe, thus joining the catalog of the so-called zero drop shoes. Feel and protection go hand in hand.

Breathable upper

Turning to the upper of the shoe, the trail runner will find a very breathable and high quality upper. It is made of a mesh fabric, to which a series of small reinforcements are added to make it more resistant, while maintaining high levels of safety and comfort at all times.

In rainy conditions, this shoe responds wonderfully, because it allows water to be released quickly, without a trace of moisture and keeping the foot dry. It also has an optimal, simple and very reliable fit.

The aspect of comfort is also transferred to the inside of the shoe, in which the British firm has opted to reduce the seams to the minimum expression. This makes it an ideal shoe for running without socks.

Regarding the outsole, as in other Inov-8 models, the aggressive lugs -between 6 and 8mm- stand out, with a very well thought-out layout. Made of a soft rubber material, this model adapts to any running surface.

Great versatility

In summary, despite its aggressive design, the Inov-8 Bare Grip 200 is a trail running model that is very comfortable and comfortable to wear. Capable of adapting to any terrain, wet or dry, it offers truly remarkable performance, whether the competition takes place on muddy, wet or even snowy surfaces. Its grip and reliability are exceptional, providing a performance to be taken into consideration.

In addition, this shoe is a very good option for trail and/or asphalt running. Its versatility is beyond any doubt.

Technologies used in the Inov-8 Bare Grip 200

Sticky? compound

Inov-8 's Sticky? compound has been designed with the use of climbing rubber technology. A particular rubber that allows for optimized grip when running on wet and slippery terrain, despite the fact that its wear is also faster.

Meta-Flex?

This system consists of a groove, built into the forefoot to provide a natural flex point in the shoe. Which allows the forefoot to move more naturally with each stride.

Antibacterial treatment

And one of the hallmarks of the British manufacturer, as all its models have an antibacterial treatment, which ensures that bacteria do not accumulate, while eliminating annoying odors.
