The Dynafit Traverse is a trailrunning shoe that we can find in versions for both men and women and that, in addition to using in our races in the mountains, we can also use without problems for trekking routes in the mountains, they are a halfway point between a trailrunning and hiking shoe.

Main features of the Dynafit Traverse

Dynafit' s new trailrunning shoe combines the best of both worlds, featuring the lightness and versatility of a trailrunning shoe, but with the protection, comfort and grip of a mountaineering shoe, which makes it an ideal shoe for our outdoors multisport adventures.

In the development of the new Dynafit Traverse, designers focused on a shoe with a silhouette that would provide comfort, and at the same time a perfect fit of the foot inside the shoe to ensure comfort during our mountain routes.

The dual construction of the upper material covering the entire midsole ensures additional support, making the shoe particularly abrasion-resistant and durable. The foot is securely wrapped and remains stable without binding.

The shoe features a seamless tongue that provides strategically placed cushioning to avoid pressure points and provide a little extra comfort on fast, steep ascents and descents.

Also note that the Dynafit Traverse completes its upper with the Quick Lacing system that improves performance, allows for a perfect custom fit for individual needs and wraps the foot with precision and firmness. It also contains a sleeve for easy storage of the elastic laces.

In the midsole, the shoe's designers have integrated a Torsion System that absorbs forces and impact with the surface to provide a more stable foot strike. This also assures that you get secure footing on technical terrain at full speed.

The sole contains Pomoca Gliding Path technology that provides support for the natural rotational movement of the foot (S-curved). This is a special S-shaped lug structure, the area of contact, which allows the sole to glide smoothly and reduces deformation energy. Thanks to the lug structure, the traction zone next to this contact area ensures optimal grip on all types of terrain.

The shoe has a drop of 8mm, perhaps a little high for a shoe to run fast in mountain terrain, but it can be appreciated in terms of comfort and convenience during our races or mountain hikes.

The weight of the Dynafit Traverse is 320 grams in the men's version and 280 grams in the women's version. Also note that the sole with Pomoca Gliding Path technology has 5 mm deep lugs, so that they can also perform well in occasionally wet or muddy terrain.
