The Cimalp X-Trail is a trail running shoe that features different technologies developed by the French brand and a Vibram XSTrek sole that guarantees perfect grip and durability.

The X-Trail is a trail running shoe from Cimalp that if we had to define the five main characteristics, they would be comfort, lightness, stability, traction and durability. An ace shoe for use preferably on compact mountain terrain.

The upper of the Cimalp X-Trail is made of 100% recycled polyester, an ultra-breathable R-MESH material with welded and seamless reinforcements that will provide great comfort and fit. The ergonomic toe box and reinforced heel counter provide optimal stability. The lacing system is traditional, very similar to those of the Cimalp X-Race.

The midsole of the Cimalp X-Trail is the so-called Chromosome with a dual compound, Speed cushioning that provides cushioning under the forefoot for greater comfort during our workouts and R-Foam technology that guarantees optimal shock absorption, especially in the heel area.

The outsole of the Cimalp X-Trail is made of the renowned Vibram XSTrek compound , which guarantees perfect grip on a wide variety of terrains, although on compact and dry terrain is where we can extract the most performance from the outsole and, obviously, the aspect of durability is also more than guaranteed.

The Cimalp X-Trail is a shoe designed for light to medium weight runners with good running technique and who need a lightweight shoe for fast mountain running without losing the comfort needed for the long distances over which it can be used.

We can use the shoe for all types of mountain terrain, from dry and undulating trails to more technical or rocky terrain thanks to its Vibram XSTrek outsole, but it will be on less technical terrain where the Cimalp X-Trail responds best.
