Adidas has come up with a fresh new design for the Tubular line, the Adidas Tubular RunnerWeave. This edition has opted for the use of lighter materials that allow for a better fit, lighter weight and comfort. Maintaining its abundant cushioning, these shoes combine a contemporary and classic style, with the use of the best technologies of the firm of the three stripes to maintain excellent performance when it comes to running.

Features of the upper of the Adidas Tubular Runner Weave

These shoes have a seamless mesh upper, which ensures excellent airflow to the interior to keep feet cool, but also provides greater comfort to the shoe, avoiding irritation points, and thus derive in the annoying blisters.

Some reinforcements of a firmer fabric have been placed in strategic points of the shoe, such as the contour of the toe area, the midfoot and the heel counter. These reinforcements make the model more durable.

The mid-boot design features a low collar that conforms well to the contour of the ankle, and features a fairly padded material to give a secure and comfortable closure. This is also complemented by a fairly large tongue, and which extends from the instep to part of the ankle to give added security and prevent slippage.

A suede reinforcement covers the lacing area, the first and last holes are attached to this suede layer, while the middle three holes are placed in a TPU piece, which helps to improve the closure of the upper, modifying the midfoot fit.

Two pull tabs, one located in the heel area and the other on the tongue, make it easier to adjust the shoe, even without having to undo the laces. The round laces achieve a more comfortable fit for the top of our feet and instep.

Midsole of the Adidas Tubular Runner Weave

Adidas has retained the original midsole design of the Tubular line, which consists of a layer of dual-density EVA rubber. With this compound, the model guarantees a high level of cushioning, without losing sight of the fact that this midsole is inspired by tires, which gives the shoe its name. This type of construction allows for greater flexibility.

While from the outside of the shoe you can perceive that this layer of EVA rubber is quite dense, inferring that it may have an excess of cushioning and additional weight, the truth is that the midsole has an abundant density, but appropriate to maintain a good cushioning of the feet. The result is none other than a lightweight, stable and comfortable running shoe.

Outsole of the Adidas Tubular Runner Weave

A highly durable rubber is used for the outsoles, offering an excellent level of traction on asphalt terrain. Here, too, the details made famous in the original edition are retained. The entire contour of the shoe is covered with a white sole, which stands out for its C-shaped pattern, and which facilitates traction. A large groove is incorporated in the central area, which also tries to simulate the design of the tires, giving greater flexibility to the Adidas Tubular RunnerWaeve.

Directly from the 90s to the latest Adidas catalog, these shoes combine the classic style that has excelled in the Tubular line, with excellent performance for running, although it is clear that with its aesthetics also give us the possibility to use them as a casual-sporty shoes quite comfortable.
