The +8000 Tesas is an ideal shoe for outings in which we can find inclement weather such as rain, muddy terrain, wet rocks. Its main quality is the Skintex waterproof membrane that keeps the foot dry. It is a very light membrane that not only repels water but also allows the foot to breathe. It is placed between 2 layers with which the upper of this model is assembled.

And its tongue in bellows format that protects the foot from the entry of water, loose stones ....

I especially liked the lacing. It has two last eyelets on both sides of the tongue very practical to get the perfect fit. I like to wear my shoes well fastened in the mountains and the eyelet/hook system allows you to adjust everything you need.

Midsole

Its midsole is made of phylon with a great absorption power that will allow you to absorb almost any type of terrain and impacts on rock or rough terrain.

We note the cushioning system with two different materials. An eva foam that we can see in a lighter gray. And a layer of higher density eva that we see in black and that surrounds the lower density eva. 2 things are achieved. On the one hand a better control and stabilization of the foot. And on the other hand, to evenly distribute the forces that occur on landing impact. The goal, a very comfortable footprint and the feeling of not wearing a brick in your mountain outings.

On both sides of the foot we will find a frame that make up 5 leather straps on each side and two of them are joined in the lacing to protect the foot and provide a better fit.

The Vibram sole is already a guarantee of quality. We ensure a non-slip sole of good durability that provides a good grip and a very good traction in almost any terrain.

It has a large longitudinal cut from heel to toe and another transverse cut in the forefoot area. It allows a correct flexibility of the shoe favoring the natural movement of the foot. And that we are talking about a robust shoe designed to keep us safe.

Walking with your foot protected is almost a must in the mountains. These +8000 Tesas incorporate a TPU stabilizing piece just above the midsole that helps control the stride providing stability and support. This avoids possible ankle sprains.
