Polar, the leading brand in heart rate monitors and GPS training has released two new colors for the optical heart rate sensor for the Polar OH1.
Polar OH1: new features
The Polar OH1 has a built-in bracelet made of an elastic fabric, which is able to adapt to the body with precision. If you are one of those people who dislike wearing a chest strap, this armband is the best option. It works with all Bluetooth-enabled Polar training computers and devices.
The novelty lies in the new colors of the bracelet, the brand has launched in April this 2018 two new shades to give a different touch to the summer outfits that are about to arrive.
Orange and gray, so you can give a fresh tone to both your heart rate monitor and your look.
- How does the optical sensor work?
The sensor used in the Polar OH1 works through 6 LEDS. This system allows you to measure your heart rate through the optical pulse. Like other Polar models such as the M400, V800, A300, etc. the pulse record can be reviewed from the Polar Flow application compatible with the heart rate monitor. This tool stores your heart rate data for up to 12 hours of training.

Pricing
Starting this April, new bracelet colors will be available for Polars OH1 model. If you are looking for a heart rate monitor with these features and want to give a little color now that summer arrives, the price of this bracelet in orange, gray and blue tones is 80 €.
If on the other hand you prefer the chest band, you can get it only in Shop Polar for 35 €.
