Nike AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO

Nike introduced its Foamposite technology in 1997 through the Nike Air Foamposite One and Nike Air Foamposite Pro. Both models were designed by Eric Avar, but what distinguishes the two models is the large Swoosh logo on the sides. The Foamposite One, was introduced by NBA star Penny Hardawayand features the athlete's 1CENT logo on the tongue and heel.

Nike Sportswear will debut the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Gold, as part of its Holiday 2017 line and will also celebrate 20 years since the release of this classic basketball shoe. The never-ending stream of new Foamposite colorways will continue with a new gold look in the Nike Air Foamposite Pro. This will be a luxurious version of the classic silhouette, certainly fit for a king.

Just like the "Silver Surfer" from March, this gold edition features metallic Swooshes and black accents on the upper, the rubber outsole is semi-translucent black. Other details include small Nike Swooshes in gold, along with a large white swoosh on the outsole.

Within the most notable features of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro is the upper's manufacturing material, which is crafted from foam. The foam is made from a liquid boiled at a temperature of 130 - 175°F and then molded, cooled and solidified.

The shoe also utilizes a carbon fiber midfoot support plate, a full-length Zoom Air sole and a"dynamic fit" inner sleeve.
