HUF Classic Lo

The design of the Huf Classic Lo shoes is not only appealing to the eye, but also demonstrates great functionality. Following the style of shoes like the Chuck Taylor, which features a rubber toe cap, the Classic Lo has a low-profile style that not only offers good performance when skateboarding but also allows us to combine it with casual outfits and wear a sporty and modern look.

Upper Design

These shoes feature a low-profile design and slim silhouette. Made from suede, the Classic Lo is designed for durability and fit. In the toe section the upper material feels very close to the foot, but at the same time offers good room for the toes to have freedom of movement without slippage. The heel area is also somewhat narrow, so that it provides better support for lateral movements.

Around the shoe the rubber reinforcement gives the upper greater durability by protecting it against wear caused by the board. The classic rubber toe cap keeps the toe area secure.

Cushioning

Given the fact that the HUF Classic Lo shoes have a vulcanized sole, we can expect a bit more board feel than cushioning. The soles of these shoes have the same density from the heel area to the toes; the extra cushioning comes from the internal insole, which is a bit thicker in the heel area. Because of this detail it is to be expected that the shoes are not capable of cushioning hard impacts, but their performance is quite good despite this.

One aspect we do have to thank the fact that the soles are thin is that they provide excellent board feel, thanks to their direct contact with the board. The rubber used by HUF for the soles has excellent flexibility and molds to the concave shapes of our feet. The grip is mostly influenced by the flexibility of the soles than by the traction of the rubber itself, however we can expect an excellent adaptation of the shoe to the different movements on the board.

Classic, balanced and very flexible, the HUF Classic Lo offers excellent board feel and protection just where it is needed.
