Adidas X TFL Continental 80

The Adidas X TFL Continental 80 is a collaboration between Transport for London and the Adidas Continental 80 silhouette, recently returned to the German brand's catalog from the brand's archive. A silhouette that has been quite successful during its return in 2018, and that in this 2019 returns to the spotlight paying tribute to the first ever London Underground, through the Transport For London organization the one in charge of bringing these six new colorways inspired by two tube lines, and each of its transports.

Adidas X TFL Continental 80: General characteristics

There is no major difference between the main version and this collaboration, except in some models where the material has been changed to a leather with a softer touch and that does not seem to get that wrinkled effect that you get in the main version. As an additional detail, we must add that the box in which these sneakers are stored presents a new design, totally different from what we are used to in the Adidas blue boxes.

• The upper is made of synthetic leather.
• It features reinforcements and stitching in the upper and rubber midsole in the forefoot and heel area.
• Absence of the classic Adidas stripes, replaced by a lateral stripe divided into two colors that refer to the colors of the city subway.
• Classic Adidas perforations on the toe and side, to improve the breathability of the shoe.
• This shoe goes perfectly with any casual outfit.
