Adidas LA Trainer

The Adidas LA Trainer was created for the opening of the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. They appeared with an innovative cushioning system (VSA) composed of several pins that could be adjusted to fit each athlete. Today this function is only decorative. The Vario Shock Absorb system allowed athletes wearing this shoe to cushion the hardness of their stride according to their weight.

The upper of the Adidas LA Trainer is made of a textile mesh fabric, the tongue has been designed in nylon with the brand's label. The midsole is white where you can see the detail of the three pins of the old VSA system, while the sole remains black, as in the original model.
