Year 2024

One of the major highlights for Scarpa in 2024 will be the introduction of the new Scarpa Spin Race, a trail running shoe shoe that will join the Spin range of the brand, aimed at the fastest trail runners.

What can we expect from the new Scarpa Spin Race?

With the launch of this new model, the Italian company Scarpa aims to cater to a specific group of trail runners who seek a shoe with advanced technologies and materials, prioritising lightweight design for fast mountain running.

The upper of the Scarpa Spin Race is made of Matryx fabric, a high-performance material that ensures lightness, breathability and comfort without compromising strength and durability.

The midsole of the shoe will have infused EVA that will provide the necessary cushioning to run fast in training and middle-distance races without any issues.

The outsole of the shoe will carry the renowned Vibram guarantee of grip and durability, a well-respected feature in the market. The specific Vibram compound used in the new Scarpa Spin Race is yet to be confirmed by the brand.

This new shoe will be part of a select group of fast mountain running shoes, competing against similar models like the NNormal Kjerag, the Merrell MTL Skyfire 2 and the Salomon S/LAB Pulsar 2, among others.

The Scarpa Spin Race won't be a shoe designed for long and ultra distances in the mountains, but to provide maximum efficiency and speed in short and medium distances. It is particularly suitable for runners with excellent running techniques who can extract the utmost performance from the shoe. As the launch date approaches, we will keep you updated with further information.
