Saucony Breakthru 2

The Saucony Breakthru 2 is one of the best mixed shoes on the market. And not only because it is an improved version of the Saucony Breakthru but also because the changes come just where they were needed...

New upper, same midsole and outsole and lower weight. The Saucony Breakthru 2 weighs just 240 grams, which makes it a very fast shoe ideal for quality training, series or races at paces below 4:30 m/km.

But at the same time it still maintains the essence of a very comfortable model ideal for runners of medium or low weight and with good running technique. They have an 8 mm drop supported by a midsole with Powergrid technology for excellent cushioning. A lightweight mixed with enough cushioning to participate in even long distance races as it has some stability and support.

The stability is provided by a piece under the arch of the foot that also carry for example the Saucony Zealot 2 although in this case a lighter stability.

Upper

The upper changes radically. Excellent fit, not a single seam, quality thermo-sealing, good support, 7 lacing and padded and comfortable collar and tongue.

Sole

Practically the same as in its big sister, which is a sure thing. In the heel and toe we find the XT-900 technology, a rubber more resistant to abrasion. In the midfoot area we see the IBR+ technology, an expanded rubber that is more comfortable and improves grip. Flex grooves that improve the transition of the footprint providing incredible flexibility.
