Nike Air Zoom Vomero 10

The iconic Nike Vomero series reaches its tenth update to the satisfaction of all neutral runners, of any weight, looking for a training shoe for long runs. And they are legion. Considering its predecessor, the Vomero 9, it can be said that the Nike Air Zoom Vomero 10 has a completely renewed design.

The tenth anniversary of this legendary running shoe has served for the American firm to present its successful bet of combining Zoom Air and Lunarlon technologies. The result: a model to enjoy great cushioning, but without sacrificing performance to keep running fast.

Nike Zoom Air technology is incorporated in both the forefoot and heel area, offering more reactive cushioning in the landing and toe-off phases of the stride. This allows for more efficient running. In turn, in the midsole, Lunarlon foam generates a smooth transition in each stride, firmer in the rearfoot and lighter in the forefoot area.

In addition, to achieve a more efficient stride, as in other Nike reference models, such as the Structure 18, the Zoom Elite 7 and the Pegasus 31, the Nike Air Zoom Vomero 10 also incorporates the Crash Rails system -two parallel rubber strips- in the rearfoot. While in the front area, a lugged outsole has been chosen to increase the traction of the shoe.

Improved upper

Another improvement of the Nike Air Zoom Vomero 10 is its upper improved with Flymesh material, which provides greater comfort, being composed of a breathable mesh and a seamless lining.

In addition, the support chapter is reinforced with Flywire cables in the laces, giving the model an optimal fit with a lighter support for a more dynamic stride.

To all this set of technologies and materials we must also add the inner plush insole, which increases comfort in every step.

On the other hand, the Nike Air Zoom Vomero 10 still maintains the 12-millimeter drop. While the weight of the shoe is 323 grams for size 425 (EU), in the men's version, with a heel height of 30mm, and 18mm in the forefoot. While in the women's version, the weight is 253 grams for size 39 (EU), maintaining the same heel and forefoot heights as the men's version.
