Year 2016

There are some, but the changes incorporated in the third version of the New Balance 1500 v3 come in the form of updates, or rather intelligent improvements that seek to increase the performance of this racing shoe. And a series of improvements that are inspired by the athletes themselves. That is why, as was the case with the original model of the series, the key to the success of the NB 1500 v3 is that it ensures stability and optimal running response, without the handicap of being forced to add more weight to this flying running shoe.

Compared to its predecessor, the NB 1500 v2, this third version features a REVlite compound, slightly modified to ensure the same cushioning capacity, while maintaining that aggressive design. In addition, the forefoot of the shoe has increased its rubber reinforcement with the basic objective of increasing the lifespan of the model.

Simplified tongue construction with Meta-Lock

The upper design of the 1500 v3 is also very similar to previous versions. And how could it be otherwise, the North American firm has opted to include the Fantom Fit technology, which provides a lightweight fit and support. In this sense, the great novelty of the New Balance 1500 v3 lies in the new simplified construction of the tongue with the Meta-Lock system, an internal support, which is located in the instep area, and allows you to enjoy a more comfortable and secure fit, wrapping the midfoot like a glove.

Regarding the outsole of the NB 1500 v3 I also bring with it the characteristic compound of the North American manufacturer Blown Rubber, which adds extra cushioning, and also greater durability to the model.

With that slight touch of stability control, the NB 1500 v3 is aimed at both neutral and mild pronator runners. And to complete the runner profile, the runner should be at an average weight - no heavier than 75 kilos. Thus, the updated NB 1500 v3 have a low profile of 6 millimeters drop, and aremarkable lightness with its 229 grams for the men's version, and 193 grams for the women's version.
