Year 2017

Diving into the catalog of Joma Sport Running shoes, specific for running in the mountains, its most iconic and best known model is undoubtedly its Sierra model, which has already presented its new update in 2017. However, from the Toledo-based company, its innovative TK Claw model should not be ruled out either, especially if you are thinking of acquiring your first trail shoes, and you are dedicated to running on trails with medium technical difficulty.

Starting from top to bottom, the upper of the TK Claw is made of rigid thread, which provides not only resistance, but also greater firmness. It also includes a series of welded TPU pieces in the toe area and on the sides, which serves to highlight the Protection technology.

The collar area has a sock-like design, so that these Joma TK Claw notably improve the fit, reinforcing the idea of achieving a lighter and more comfortable model. On the other hand, it also includes the VTS ventilation system, which increases breathability.

The characteristic Lace Pocket system features a practical pocket to "hide" the lace, so you can forget about possible snags when running.

Lighter and more comfortable

In the heel area, the Fix Counter technology contributes to the model's greater stability and, therefore, better performance on uneven terrain. This feature also enhances both comfort and protection.

In the midsole, in addition to the EVA compound to ensure optimal cushioning, it also features the exclusive Stabilis technology, which minimizes forefoot and heel movements. The result is a shoe with greater stability. This stability is also enhanced by the pre-molded EVA insole, which fits snugly to the last.

In addition, the use of the Glove system allows the Joma TK Claw to avoid stitching, and the rounded lines of the model fit the foot better. This translates into lightness and comfort.

Two-way lugged outsole

The outsole of the Joma TK Claw is made of injected rubber, which incorporates a two-directional tread pattern. A front area focused on improving grip on climbs, while the rear is designed for downhill sections.

Durability technology reinforces the resistance of the model in the areas most exposed to wear, which prolongs the life of the shoe.

Regarding the technical specifications, the Joma TK Claw have a drop 8 millimeters, and an approximate weight of 293 grams.
