Upper

The upper of these shoes is made of a breathable yet durable nylon fabric, with TPU material throughout the central part. As if that were not enough, to further improve the upper's resistance, the brand has incorporated a mesh mesh to reinforce and protect the nylon.

This new version of the Sierra has rear reinforcements to maintain stability on uneven terrain, and the toe cap has welded TPU to increase safety and prevent knocks.

To make the shoe fit the foot and provide support, the upper around the ankle has a mesh upper, which also prevents dirt from getting inside. The tongue is another of the novelties of these Joma, it includes a pocket to store the lace and thus avoid snags.

Outsole and midsole

Being a trail shoe, the outsole is quite firm and durable which delays wear and tear. This is thanks to DURABILITY technology. The entire outsole is made of DIN-60 abrasion rubber with front lugs to improve grip on the climb.

As for the midsole, composed of two pieces of phylon, it provides cushioning and stability. This material prevents deformation, making it ideal for neutral runners. It also incorporates a piece of hard PVC in the front part providing extra protection.

In short, it is a very complete shoe for mountain running, with a weight of 335gr. To improve fit and comfort, it has a pre-molded EVA insole adjusted to the last of the foot, with the GLOVE system, which avoids protruding seams.
