The Joma Carrera 2016 are a training running model for runners who need to slightly correct their pronation. A model for runners of medium-high and high weight from 80 kg.

Features Joma Carrera 2016

  • Durability: soles of greater durability thanks to the high-strength rubber that delays wear due to abrasion, thus extending the life of the shoe.
  • Stabilis: a TPU piece located in the shank that reduces heel and toe movements avoiding bending and torsion. It provides stability. This model is complemented by a central triangular piece that prevents deformation due to excess cushioning.
  • Pulsor: a cushioning system composed of a gel piece that absorbs the impact of the foot strike and favors impulse.
  • Flexo: a system of ergonomically designed flexion lines to provide the best transition from heel to toe in each step.
  • Fix Counter: counter that provides greater protection and comfort in the heel thanks to the new last with more ergonomic shapes.

Upper

Made of breathable nylon. Reinforcements have been added on the sides and in the toe area for greater resistance of the shoe in heavy runners.

Midsole

Composed of 2 pieces of phylon. The one we see in orange, with a harder composition, helps stabilize the footstep and correct the slight pronation of the runner, while the phylon closer to the sole is softer, facilitating the landing with a softer and more cushioned feel.

In the heel area we find a piece of viscous and soft aspect that helps to increase the feeling of cushioning on landing.

Outsole

It is made up of 3 different pieces of rubber with different components against abrasion. The most resistant in the heel area that suffers greater wear due to landing.

Another central piece of a softer and lighter material with a lower resistance to abrasion as this area is less resistant to abrasion.

And a front piece of greater resistance to abrasion than the central one but less than the rear one.

Insole

Remodeled EVA insole that fits perfectly to the last of the foot.
