Most of Hoka One One's Running shoes catalog, with exceptions such as the Tracer model, is cut from the same cloth to ensure stability to the runner, thanks to its low profile - 6 mm approx -, its wide structure and its dynamic frame. These are the hallmarks that have positioned the American brand as one of the references for mild to moderate overpronators, but also for runners with a neutral stride. They are increasingly seen on the feet of many runners. Offering maximum cushioning with minimum weight is a detail that does not go unnoticed by any runner.

J-Frame, technological innovation for stability control

With the new release of the Hoka One One Arahi, stability control goes one step further, as Hoka One One One introduces a new technology, the so-called J-Frame, a new technology in the midsole of the model, capable of wrapping around the heel and at the same time extending along the entire medial side to the forefoot.

Thenew concept of Hoka One One's J-Frame is made with EVA foam, but this is double density and firmer, so the result is none other than the Hoka One One Arahi. A model that offers stability, lightness, dynamism, and all this without sacrificing a more than optimal cushioning, because the Hoka One One Arahi is the first to combine stability and support with lightness and cushioning.

Hoka One One speaks of Dynamic Stability, thanks to the fact that it provides both support and protection, while at the same time trying to guide the foot without the use of rigid materials that reduce the foot's freedom of movement.

Benefits of J-Frame technology

  • Designed to combat pronation.
  • Guides the foot without the use of rigid, unyielding materials, ensuring natural movement.
  • Provides stability, but also helps to reinforce cushioning and lightness.

The technical characteristics of the Hoka One One Arahi include a lowdrop of 5 millimeters (heel height of 29mm and forefoot height of 24mm), and a weight of 263 grams for the men's version, and 221 grams for the women's model. With the new Arahi, Hoka One One enters into direct competition with reference models such as the ASICS DS Trainer, the adidas Adizero Tempo or the Mizuno Wave Catalyst.
