Everything seems to remain the same in the expected ASICS Noosa FF2, which arrives to the market without too many changes from the original model. The first version of the ASICS Noosa FF was a radical change from the successful Gel Noosa Tri family, as a running shoe made by and for the practice of triathlon.

ASICS Noosa FF 2, what remains the same

That central ideal of being a reference model for triathletes to make a difference in the last and final segment of competition remains in force, and in the ASICS Noosa FF, the bet was to include the innovative FlyteFoam technology in pursuit of achieving maximum speed and the best performance in the race; and therefore, in these ASICS Noosa FF 2, the designers of the Japanese firm have decided to keep the design of the midsole and outsole intact, without any change, and focus all efforts on the upper of the model, seeking to improve both the drainage and the feeling of comfort.

As in the original version, the Noosa FF 2 retains the responsive FlyteFoam midsole, while also retaining ASICS' unique GEL system, which is included in the rearfoot area of the shoe. The Noosa's DNA remains unchanged: optimal cushioning with a lighter, more springy feel underfoot with every stride you take. The result is improved responsiveness.

The outsole of the ASICS Noosa FF 2 also remains unchanged. The bet is still on two compounds whose mission is to offer a specialized grip, capable of performing identically in wet and/or dry conditions. Not forgetting that the ASICS Wet Grip system serves to improve the traction of the shoe.

ASICS Noosa FF 2, what has changed

With the premise of providing an efficient race to the triathlete in the transition zones, in addition to being oriented to the profile of runner who moves at fast paces, these ASICS Noosa FF 2 have a completely renewed upper, and made with an ultralight fabric.

For starters, the design of the Noosa FF 2 is seamless, which allows the triathlete to run without socks with the consequent benefit of minimizing the time lost in the transition area.

It should also be noted that the ASICS Noosa FF 2 incorporates a more open and more breathable mesh upper, which helps the model to dry more quickly, offering a higher level of breathability, comfort and support.

On the other hand, this new redesign of the upper results in this second iteration of the ASICS Noosa FF 2 being somewhat lighter than its previous version, weighing approximately 240 grams -between 10 and 15 grams less than the original model-, although they still maintain the 10-millimeterdrop.

In short, the ASICS Noosa FF 2 is designed as a racing shoe for more responsive racing, and for the triathlete to be able to run faster and more efficiently. But also, these Noosa FF 2 can be suitable as a training shoe, focused on running series or fast sessions for neutral runners. As seen in the original model, the ASICS Noosa FF 2 continues to try to reinvent speed, thanks to the exclusive FlyteFoam foam, as well as continuing to set trends and style with its striking design and bold color palette, which this second version has been updated.

Although they say comparisons are odious, the new ASICS Noosa FF 2 is very much in line with other iconic ASICS Running shoes like the ASICS Gel DS Trainer 23.
